 I hope everyone is aware of the atrocities faced by our friends at Jadavpur university. Students who were peacefully protesting were beaten brutally by police and the goons, as per the orders of their VC. Women were groped and molested, the lights were put off so that they could hide themselves.
The students and faculty from JU, IIM Calcutta, Calcutta Medical college, Ashutosh college, Syamaprasad college and many other educational institutions participated in a protest march for the VC's resignation yesterday on 17th September 2014.


Our respected Education Minister Chatterjee however made a comment that,
"Students should behave like students. One cannot support the gherao of the vice chancellor,".

Yes Sir, students should behave like students especially when an incident like sexual harassment occurs in the university premises a month back and the they were peacefully protesting in their own university,singing songs and strumming guitars at the dead of the night at 2am when the police and the goons attacked them and brutally tortured them not even sparing the women. The goons carried boots to hit people, women were tortured to the extent that their clothes tore. Many of them were wounded, 40 students were injured, two students are in critical condition and one of them had to be put on ventilator support.

 Now what should our respected Education minister's ideal student do? 
Sit at home petrified after this barbarism has been imposed on peaceful protesters?
Nurse our wounds at home at go back to their university,their home as if nothing happened?
How would they face their friends who are seriously injured or the student who is fighting for his life under ventilator support?
Forget them,how would they look at themselves in the mirror,or be able to sleep at night? !
I am sorry but i don't think we can be such inhuman people, how can one be at peace when our friends were molested and injured..

Not just the students of JU the bhodrolok of Bengal and from all over India are rising against this tyranny.
The brutality in which students were attacked in the JU campus is heinous and shameful! They will continue to spread terror if YOU donot protest . What sort of a low human being calls and lets loose cops and goons on peaceful protesters? The VC ought to resign otherwise the whole student community should protest..
In these troubled times i am reminded of the protest song "Dheu uthche.. kara jutche..alo phutche.. kara jagche..."
Yes we are all rising rising towards such despotism.

Today while coming out of my Biology tuition I slipped but then I somehow regained my balance.!! This is a poem i had written when i was in the 6th standard and our group nearly broke.....I admit This poem has lots of flaws and abstractions but for me this poem really means a lot..... Here's a poem written by my friend who is trying to quit smoking and below it is my reply poem to him ... Aj fir ek cigarette jala raha hun,, uski nazar me ye ek gunaah hai, mai to uske waade bhula raha hu,, Aj fir ek cigarette jala raha hu.. samajhna mat isko meri aadat,main to bus dhuaan ura raha hu, ye uski yaado ka silsila hai, mai uski yaaden jala raha hu.. mai peekar itna behek chuka hu ki gham ke kisse suna raha hu.. agar tumhein bhi ghm hai to aao,main pee raha hu aur pila raha hu... ek cigarette ki shama k bahane main apne aap ko jala raha hu..
