Is chaatne aur chatwane ki duniya mei ,
Kabhi juta toh kabhi salam thokne ki addato mei
roj marra ke boring se fasano mei, bus aur local train mei latak kar ghar wapas jane mei..
Fir ekdin subah uthke kaam pe jane kliye khud ko fuslane mei..
Baki reh gaye un sawalo mei, aur roz ke galat jhuthe jawabo mei
Socha hai kabhi kaha kami reh gayi?
Kaha anjane mei lagaam kuch dhili chordi?
Kaha jaan muchkar chutiya ban gaye
Kaha bar baar thokar khane chale gaye
Kab dil aur dimag ke beech fass kar kuch zyada hi keh gaye..
Aur kaha sab kuch sehkar kadwa ghoot piker chup rehgaye..
Is chatne aur chatwane ki duniya mei vyaktitva ko kyu khote gaye
Kyu khokar thokare khakar chup rehne ki addat daalkar, chutiye bante reh gaye..
Kabhi talve chate toh kabhi apne chatwate gaye..

Monday blues..!

Today while coming out of my Biology tuition I slipped but then I somehow regained my balance.!! Yes I slipped again..!!A year back on my 16th birthday I slipped and fractured my ankle!!Actually it's my fault only there are two staircases in my biology tuition both leading to the exit, one is the normal kinda stairs which we generally have and the other one is a spiral staircase which opens outwards (yes you can even see the sky from it's broken corners!) but it doesnot even have a railing in some places and it's extremely narrow(exactly the size of my foot!!yes I did measure it!!) and steep!! Retreating back..

Today is Dashami the last day of Durga puja when Ma Durga is immersed into the Ganges..And like every bengali I too have a heavy heart on this day.. When I was small I used to go to see  the Bisarjan (or the immersing of the idol of Ma Durga) in a lake in Behala with my cousins in the evening...Wide eyed with wonder i would watch as scores of idols from tiny to tall made their way on the shoulders of devotees down to the final immersion place.. The immersion place would be filled by devotees dancing to the dhaak beats and the smoke from the dhunuchi... And I would silently shed tears (like a silly girl) seeing Ma Durga gradually sink into the water ..And if anybody noticed(which they hardly did) I would say uff eto dhoa (The smoke of the dhunuchi is unbearable)!! My cousins would happily witness the noise,the colour and the grandeur with our newly bought balloons and ice creams as I kept getting sadder and sadder.. Tis' the season to be jolly...

Wish everyone reading(and not reading) a Merry Christmas... I had a really memorable Christmas this year,with all my friends... And despite having these allergies on my face which make me look like Voldemort,i hugely enjoyed this day... I usually spend this day at my friend machli's house (which is more my house than hers!) eating,dancing partying with my friends... We went to Park street in the evening which is heavily decorated for Christmas... As the entry of motor vehicles was banned on the road in the evening, it was an atmosphere of carols, choir, shouts of joy in unison from people,shimmering lights... It was an amazing experience,I think it was a wonderful idea to have a Christmas carnival in this city of Joy... Anyway i had an amazing time but I have my exams lined up after two days to spoil the fun... Adios till next time...
